This literary icon was located on Melrose Ave, Hollywood and founded in 1958 by Eli Goodman. The shop operated for over 50 years and was known for its "beautiful mess" of floor-to-ceiling stacks. It specialised in rare and unusual titles, film scripts, and vintage magazines, often catering to university professors and Hollywood studio decorators. The store sadly closed in 2015.
